ORDERING INSTRUCTIONS
NOTE: Current order backlog is approximately
five (5) work days!
Excalibur ships parcels daily via First Class/Priority
Mail, International Air Mail, or by Second-Day or Next-Day UPS upon
request at extra cost. Our detailed catalogs describe material accurately,
and if its ugly, we say so! Your satisfaction is guaranteed, always!
We have relied upon repeat customers for over thirty years, and
your business is important to us!
All prices are in U.S dollars, and sizes are approximate and
in metric units unless noted otherwise. For each specimen or item
requested, simply list the name, its locality/description, size and
price, and subtotal your order. Our
shipping and handling charges have not increased in a number of years
despite price increases absorbed at our end. However, new minimum
shipping & handling charges are as follows, and we reserve
the right to bill actual shipping costs in all cases if they exceed
these minimums:

These charges cover First Class/Priority Mail plus full insurance
for domestic orders. Second-Day or Next-Day UPS are at additional
cost.
ATTENTION FOREIGN CUSTOMERS: New postal rates will raise minimum
shipping charge (Europe) to $14.00. Foreign orders will be sent
by air mail with no declared value unless registration or insurance
is requested at extra cost. Sea Mail no longer exists as a class
of mail
New York residents must add appropriate sales tax to their total order unless a resale certificate is submitted with order or on file with us.
We accept orders by mail, fax, E-Mail or telephone,
and payment by check, money order or credit card is required with
each order. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American
Express and Discover Cards as well! If paying by credit card,
send card number, expiration date, three or four digit security
code from reverse of card, and daytime telephone number. A printed
receipt will accompany your parcel. NOTE TO CREDIT CARD CUSTOMERS:
Please indicate the actual billing address of the credit card you
are using, regardless of the order shipping address, in order to
avoid the new AVS surcharges being implemented by the credit card
companies! We do not ship on approval or by C.O.D.; wire transfers
and payments in any valid free-world currency at a
modest discount can be arranged. Please inquire for fees and details.
All specimens are guaranteed
as advertised, and we are the only mineral dealer in the U.S. with
in-house Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy capability to ensure identification
accuracy. Specimen returns are accepted within 10 days for exchange credit only
if paid by credit card, or a standard 15% restocking fee will be
applied to returns for reasons other than incorrect specimen identification. Returns are not accepted after 30 days.
Minimum order is US$25.00.
